Easter Basket Craft Supplies
Below are the supplies you will need for this Easter basket craft. You can pick them up for only a few dollars at any local craft store or order online.
- Colored craft papers
- Card stock paper for the basket base
- Craft glue
- Pencil
- Scissors
Easter Basket Craft Instructions
Step 1
Select brown card stock paper for the basket base and another different shade of brown-colored craft paper to craft the woven pattern (with strips) on it.
Trace and cut out the basket handle from the card stock paper as well.
Trace the rest of the patterns (bow, egg, and egg decorating shapes) on pastel-colored craft papers of your choice and cut them out nicely.
Step 2
Cut a slit along the line inside the basket base pattern. Apply glue horizontally on the basket base. Keep small and even gap between the glue lines.
Step 3
Place brown strips along the glued parts on the basket base. Keep the basket slit open.
Step 4
Now apply glue on the basket base vertically and place more strips along the vertically applied glue lines.
Step 5
Continue to fill the basket base with strips until it looks nicely woven.
Step 6
Use the scissors to trim the extra sides of the attached strips.
Step 7
Attach the handle on the top side of the crafted basket.
Step 8
Cut out 3 or 4 eggs and decorate them using colored craft paper strips and shapes.
Step 9
Attach the bow on the handle and insert the paper eggs through the slit of the card stock basket. Apply glue to fix the positions of the eggs into the basket.
Set aside until dry and your Easter basket craft is ready.
